Tóm tắt As the deteriorating global ecological environment is affecting the long-term survival of humans, eco-cultural education for students is more urgent than ever. The article aims to study the interdisciplinary combination of literature and ecology for eco-cultural education at a lower secondary stage. From the basic knowledge of eco-culture, the article defines the goal, contents and methods of organizing eco-cultural education at lower secondary schools. The article also provides a preliminary assessment and survey of the integration of eco-cultural education into the teaching of Literature based on the Grade 6 Literature textbooks from the “Connecting Knowledge to Life” series.
