Tóm tắt Thể tài thơ tống biệt gồm những tác phẩm mà chủ thể sáng tác là người ở lại viết để tiễn biệt một ai đó khi họ dịch chuyển không gian sống từ một nơi này đến một nơi khác. Trong thơ thế kỉ XVIII-XIX, thể tài này ghi nhận những đặc trưng ở cả nội dung và nghệ thuật. Nội dung cảm xúc gắn với những cuộc tống tiễn nổi bật ở ba khía cạnh: (1) tinh thần yêu nước, (2) tình yêu quê hương, gia đình và (3) tình cảm bè bạn, bằng hữu. Thơ tống biệt đã tái hiện lại hiện thực giai đoạn này trên các khía cạnh tiêu biểu: li tán, loạn lạc, đời sống đói khổ của nhân dân, công cuộc bảo vệ biên cương cả phía Bắc, phía Nam, quá trình đấu tranh của nhà Nguyễn đối với cuộc xâm lược của thực dân Pháp. Có hai kiểu thời gian nghệ thuật nổi bật của thể tài này là thời gian khoảnh khắc và thời gian đan xen quá khứ - hiện tại – tương lai. Không gian sông nước là không gian tống biệt xuất hiện nhiều hơn cả. Các điển cố và thi liệu Hán học, các hình tượng nghệ thuật như liễu, li bôi được sử dụng đều biểu trưng cho sự chia li, chia tay, tiễn biệt... Nghiên cứu này góp phần làm sáng tỏ khái niệm và những đặc trưng nổi bật về nội dung và nghệ thuật của thể tài tống biệt trong thơ Việt Nam thế kỉ XVIII-XIX. Farewell poetry consists of poems, in which the author is the one who stays behind and say goodbye to someone as they move their living place. During the XVIII-XIXth centuries, this poetry branch recognized characteristics in both content and art. The emotional content associated with farewell events of three aspects: (1) patriotism, (2) the love of homeland and the family, and (3) friendship. The farewell poems recreated real life in this period on some typical aspects: the separation and dispersion, the poverty of the people, the effort of protecting the northern and southern border, the struggle of the Nguyen dynasty against the aggression of the French colonial. In these farewell poems, there are two outstanding artistic types of time: momentous time and continuous time including the past, the present, and the future. River is the most special space which appears in farewell poems. Historical references and materials for poetry and the artistic symbols such as willow, parting cupbeing used in farewell poems symbolize the separation, parting, farewell... This work contributes to elucidate concepts and outstanding characteristics of the contents and art of farewell poetry branch in Vietnamese poetry in the XVIII-XIXth centuries.
