Tóm tắt Fine motor skills play an important role in the children's development process in general and children with autism spectrum disorder in particular. When children improve their fine motor skills, they will be more independent and proactive in performing tasks such as eating, personal hygiene, writing, speaking, creativity, etc. This article is about developing fine motor for children with autism spectrum disorder through STEAM education and is experimented on a case study. The study conducted experiments and evaluated pre- and post-experimental results on the level of fine motor skills of a 5-6-year-old child with autism, including Grasping skill; Folding skill; Gluing skill; Stringing skill; Cutting skill; Writing skill; Coloring skill; Drawing skills. Some STEAM projects have experimented to develop fine motor skills including: Making pinwheels; Making a floating boat on water; Making paper bags to replace plastic bags. The results obtained after 5 weeks of the experiment showed that the child's fine motor skills have improved compared to pre- experiment, especially gluing skill and coloring skills.
