Tóm tắt Giáo dục STEAM hiện nay rất được chú trọng trong nhà trường, kể cả các trường mầm non hòa nhập có trẻ khuyết tật trí tuệ. Toán học là một trong các nội dung cốt lõi của giáo dục STEAM. Việc sử dụng phương pháp toán tư duy Finger Math vào các hoạt động làm quen với toán có nhiều lợi thế trong việc thực hiện các mục tiêu hình thành biểu tượng cho trẻ mầm non và trẻ khuyết tật trí tuệ học hòa nhập. Khi tổ chức hoạt động làm quen với toán cho lớp mầm non hòa nhập cho trẻ khuyết tật trí tuệ, giáo viên có thể vận dụng phương pháp toán tư duy Finger Math theo cách tiếp cận STEAM bằng cách tăng cường khai thác đặc trưng hình ảnh biểu tượng, thực hành gắn với tình huống thực tế, thực hành trải nghiệm, tăng cường tính chủ động, hợp tác của trẻ. STEAM education is now very focused in schools, including inclusive preschools for children with intellectual disabilities. Mathematics is one of the core contents of STEAM education. The use of Finger Math, one mental math method in activities to get acquainted with some elementary concepts of math has many advantages in realizing the goals of forming symbols for preschool children and children with intellectual disabilities in inclusive settings. When organizing these activities, teachers can apply the Finger Math method according to the STEAM approach by enhancing the exploitation of image features symbols, practice associated with real situations, experiential practice, enhance children's initiative and cooperation.
